110 VDC equip is often done by maintenance personnel. There are potentially hazardous voltages on circuits, electrical contacts and other electrical equipment which should be handled with great care. The following precautions should be observed in operating equipment supplied by Fujitsu: 1. Make sure that equipment is OFF before handling. 2. Never use soldering or other materials that produce heat in proximity to the equipment 3. Always wear insulated gloves when working on equipment. 4. Avoid touching any exposed electrical parts with bare skin. 5. Use plastic gloves or other non-conductive materials. 6. Turn OFF equipment before working on circuit boards or components. 7. Place equipment in a well ventilated area. 8. Keep equipment in a dust free environment. 9. Avoid any potential exposure to electrical shock hazards such as sparks. 10. Be careful of equipment that may produce sparks. 11. All work that may generate heat should be done in a well ventilated area and using proper working conditions. 12. Long length hair may present a risk of electric shock when touching equipment. 13. All personal protective equipment should be changed before moving to another area and it should be cleaned regularly. 14. When working with high voltages or with equipment that produces sparks, wear eye protection. 15. High voltage work is a dirty and hazardous job. Gloves, eye protection, personal hygiene products and safety apparel should be carefully stored after use. 16. Do not touch high voltages with bare hands or bare parts of the body. 17. Do not enter an enclosure with high voltage equipment without appropriate protective equipment, and .110 VDC equip is not one of them. 18. Do not block the air flow to a ventilation system with dirty clothes. 19. Do not use hose on equipment that is connected to a fluid system. 20. Wipe up spills immediately to avoid contamination of surrounding equipment. 21. Do not work on circuits or components if you are dizzy or faint. 22. Never place electrical equipment on a work bench or desk without appropriate protection. 23. Avoid working alone on high voltage circuits and components. 24. Do not change circuits or components without first turning OFF equipment. 25. Do not work with equipment that generates sparks. 26. Never touch high voltage
